BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 23-year-old woman is facing vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges after a man was struck and killed on Buffalo’s East Side early Sunday morning.
A 31-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle, officials said, at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Wick Street around 2:45 a.m. Danielle Davis, 23, has been charged with first-degree manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to a city spokesperson.
Officials said the man was taken to the Erie County Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after 3:30 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
