The Delaware State Police have arrested Kimberly Trabbold, 60, of Wilmington, Delaware after, police claim, she held a knife to the back of a Dollar Tree worker and put them in a headlock during a robbery attempt on Monday.
According to police, Trabbold has been charged with attempted robbery after she, allegedly, entered a Dollar Tree store along Churchmans Road in Newark, Delaware, and wandered the store a bit before approaching a casher and putting the worker in a headlock.
At that time, police claim, Trabbold held a knife to the worker’s back and demanded them to open up the cash register.
However, other store employees witnessed the incident and interfered, police said, restraining Trabbold until officers arrived at the scene.
She was arrested without further incident and, police said, no workers were harmed in the attempted robbery.
Trabbold has been taken to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution where, police said, she was being held on $25,000 bail.
