The Chicago Bears are set to play the Green Bay Packers in a rematch of their Week 14 game, and there is a ton on the line at Soldier Field.
The two teams are neck and neck in the NFC North race, and both teams have a chance of clinching a playoff berth if they capture the contest on Saturday.
Here’s what you need to know.
What time is the Bears vs. Packers game?
The Bears and Packers will play in one of two nationally televised games on Saturday, both of which feature divisional opponents squaring off.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders kick things off at 4 p.m. Central time, with the Bears and Packers following up in the nightcap at Soldier Field at 7:20 p.m.
Where can I watch it?
Both games Saturday will air on Fox.
What is the playoff picture looking like heading into the game?
The NFC playoff race remains as tight as ever, with five teams within striking distance of the top seed in the conference.
The Bears are currently in the top spot in the NFC North with a 10-4 record, and the Packers are just behind them with a record of 9-4-1.
Whichever team wins the game will have the inside track to win the NFC North title, and to secure a home playoff game in the first round of the postseason. If the Bears beat the Packers, all they would have to do is win one of their final two games of the season to secure the division crown, their first in seven years.
If the Packers win, they would still need to win their final two games, or have the Bears lose at least once in the final two weeks of the regular season.
If the Bears win and the Lions lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago would clinch a playoff spot, its first since 2020. The Packers would also clinch a playoff spot if they win and the Lions lose.
Remaining Schedule
After this week’s game, the Bears will have two games left in the regular season. They’ll have to face the surging San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Dec. 28 in Santa Clara, California, in a game that will air on NBC Chicago.
Their final game of the regular season will be played against the Lions, with the date yet to be announced.
