ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — ZONE 518 celebrated its grand opening on Thursday. Located on Erie Boulevard in the old Huck Finn’s Warehouse, it offers several virtual reality experiences and escape rooms.
The owner said it’s a great way to have fun with friends, family or coworkers.
“It’s very easy right now to feel like technology is dividing us, and we are very proud of bringing in these experiences with virtual reality headsets that are designed for people to do collaboratively,” owner Ace Blackburn said. “So, whether it’s an escape room you’re doing together or doing zombies or you’re stopping a bomb on a train or having a magical adventure, these are not designed to be done home alone on your sofa.”
ZONE 518 is hosting special Halloween adventures starting next week. Walk-ins are welcome, but it’s recommended to book online in advance.
