- Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot and killed in what authorities are calling a “targeted attack” during an event he was hosting Wednesday at Utah Valley University in Orem, just north of Provo.
- Investigators on Thursday asked the public for help in identifying a person of interest as they released images and a video. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the ID and arrest.
- Authorities said they had recovered the firearm used in the shooting in a wooded area, which they described as a “high-powered, bolt-action rifle.”
