
“President Donald Trump on Saturday evening promoted a false conspiracy theory surrounding the assassinations of Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark in June of last year,” reports Bring Me The News. “The post falsely suggests that Hortman was slain by alleged gunman Vance Boelter because she voted to end MinnesotaCare access for undocumented adults in Minnesota. The video makes other false claims concerning Gov. Tim Walz.”
Manufacturing exports from Minnesota have declined 13.5 percent year over year, MPR News reports, and tariffs carry much of the blame. But it’s not just tariffs: “Tighter immigration policies from the Trump administration have shrunk hiring pools for many firms that previously relied on qualified immigrant labor.”
Fifty-five day care providers in Minnesota are under investigation by the state’s Department of Youth and Families, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune. The investigation comes in the wake of a viral video from a conservative influencer who alleges fraud and several Twin Cities day care facilities.
