The early morning crash of a tractor-trailer on Exit 338 along Interstate 76 led to the closure of that exit on Monday.
According to officials, at about 4:37 a.m., a tractor-trailer was involved in a crash along Exit 338 — the Belmont Avenue / Green Lane exit — on Interstate 76, leading to a closure of the exit ramp there.
Following the crash, Belmont Avenue was closed in both directions between Jefferson Street and Green Lane as crews worked to clear the area.
Officials said clean up in the area could take until 1 p.m.
Police have not yet said what may have caused this crash nor have they detailed any injuries due to this incident.
An investigation, officials said, is ongoing.
