Temple University alum donates largest ever gift to College of Public Health

Temple University announced that the school has received its biggest gift ever after a university trustee gave the College of Public Health $55 million.

In return, the College of Public Health will now be named after the donor Christopher Barnett.

The announcement happened at the grand opening ceremony for the newly renovated Paley Hall on Friday, Oct. 10.

Barnett said that “by strengthening the public health workforce, we can help shape a healthier, more equitable future for all.”

The Temple University alum founded ABA Centers, an Autism care provider across 12 states.
