Taste of North Park: Get tickets before they sell out

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — One of San Diego’s most beloved neighborhood events is back this fall. The Taste of North Park returns on Saturday, Oct. 4, bringing a vibrant mix of local bites, craft beverages, indie shopping, live music, and pop-up art to the streets of happening area.

Running from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the event features over 50 tasting shops—from restaurants and breweries to cafes and cideries— along with opportunities to explore local artisans, musicians and small businesses.

According to event organizers, tickets are expected to sell out, as they do every year. There’s “Food Only” ticket option for $50, a “Food + Sips” package for $65 and “Shareable Sip Ticket” for $85 which includes one shared food pass and two drink cups.

Tickets can be purchased online.

Attendees will also enjoy live music performances and pop-up art installations throughout the neighborhood.

For the first time, Taste of North Park will be integrated with Walkabout.app, a new hyper-local digital guide designed to connect the community with small businesses. Through the app, attendees can:

  • Plan a custom tasting route
  • Access real-time updates on music and art pop-ups
  • Unlock exclusive after-parties and insider events

Event organizers say the technology aims to enhance the self-guided experience while supporting North Park’s creative and culinary community.

Check-in starts at 10:30 a.m. at any of these five locations:

  • bluefoot bar & lounge (3404 30th St.)
  • Louisiana Purchase (2305 University Ave.)
  • The Original 40 Brewing Company (3117 University Ave.)
  • Thai Time (4102 30th St.)
  • Walkabout Union Cowork (3919 30th St.)

The event is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to enjoy alcoholic beverages.

Parking is available at the North Park Garage (3829 29th St.) and the event is also accessible via MTS bus lines 2, 6, 7, and 10.
