Students at an elementary school and a middle school in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, were evacuated Wednesday because of reported gas leaks.
Bristol Borough Mayor Frank W. Peranteau, Sr. told NBC10 there was a gas leak at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School on 450 Beaver Street in Bristol.
The school was evacuated as police, firefighters and PECO responded.
SkyForce10 was over the scene as students and staff were relocated to the Grundy Ice Skating Rink across the street from the school.

The students were then sent home for the day and a private company is currently working to fix the gas leak, the mayor said.
Also on Wednesday morning, a smell of gas was reported at Maple Point Middle School located on the 2200 block of Langhorne Yardley Road in Langhorne, a spokesperson for the Neshaminy School District said.
Students and staff were evacuated and taken to the Core Creek Elementary School next door as PECO and the Middletown Township Fire Department responded, officials said.
The building was reopened but school leaders dismissed students as a precaution.
Maple Point Middle School is scheduled to open again normally on Thursday, Jan. 15.
No injuries were reported at either school.
