Scattered showers working through Bay Area Thursday

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A few showers are moving through the Bay Area Thursday morning. Scattered showers remain possible through the morning commute, mostly coming to an end by the afternoon.

Rain totals will likely be light, up to a quarter inch in the Santa Cruz and eastern Santa Clara Mountains. Lingering showers may persist overnight, especially inland.

Highs land in the 60s and 70s, which is 5 to 10 degrees cooler than normal.

A warming and drying trend begins Friday and lasts through the weekend.
