San Pedro Fish Market to open new waterfront location in October

San Pedro Fish Market, a Southern California seafood landmark since 1956, will celebrate the grand opening of its new waterfront location on Oct. 1.

The restaurant’s New Landing is situated next to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, located at 6th Street and Harbor Boulevard. The updated space features a fresh seafood display, photo-friendly backdrops, and a view of the harbor.

The New Landing will offer the market’s well-known menu, including its World-Famous Shrimp Tray. The restaurant is located at 706 S. Harbor Blvd. in San Pedro. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.

“This location is more than a restaurant—it’s a destination, one that honors our heritage while embracing the energy of what’s to come. We’re deeply grateful to LA Council Member Tim McOsker, LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn, and our partners at West Harbor for their dedication and support in helping bring this project to life,” CEO and owner Michael Ungaro said in a statement.

The grand opening comes as San Pedro is continuing work on its 42-acre West Harbor project, which replaces the former Ports O’ Call Village.
