DOVER, Fla. (WFLA) — A snake was rescued on Wednesday after an abandoned aquarium was spotted on the side of the road in Dover, according the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
In a post on social media, they said a Hillsborough County worker spotted the abandoned aquarium and inside it was a three-foot Ball Python that they have since named Kaa.
HSTB said that Kaa was found with no food and no access to water.
Kaa isn’t available for adoption just yet, but will be in the near future.
