Police investigating East Boston stabbing

Boston police are investigating a stabbing in East Boston that happened near the East Boston High School Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say the stabbing took place on Falcon Street just before 2 p.m.

Investigators tell 7NEWS the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One woman who witnessed the attack said the victim, a young girl, coming from the high school. The witness said she appeared to be “running for her life.”

The witness also captured video of the victim being pulled from a house on a stretcher.

“I see the EMTs, they worked on her very quickly…the family was surrounding her, they were working on her, we don’t know how bad she is,” the woman said. “Very scary because in 10 years that I’ve lived here nothing like this has ever happened.”

Police say no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
