Person hurt after being struck by vehicle on Route 38 in Mount Holly, police say

A person has been hospitalized after, officials said, they were struck by a vehicle that along Route 38 in Mount Holly, New Jersey, on Thursday morning.

According to police, the incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. along Route 38 at Pine Street in Mount Holly, New Jersey.

Officials did not immediately provide further information on the individual that was struck, nor did they detail what led to the crash or the vehicle involved.

An investigation was ongoing.

On Thursday morning, a helicopter could be seen on the ground, near the scene, as crews worked to clear the area following the crash.

On Thursday afternoon, officials said the victim in this incident has been hospitalized in critical condition.
