Several students, a school bus driver and three others were hurt in a crash involving a school bus and a car in South Jersey on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials with Moorestown Township.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the intersection of Harford and Borton Landing roads in Moorestown Township, officials said.
Six students and the drivers of the bus were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries as well as three people in the other vehicle involved with the crash, according to officials.
The other students who were not hurt in the crash were taken to the closest school in order to be picked up by family members, officials reported.
Township leaders said that counselors will be available to any students who need support following the crash.
