BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A New Jersey man was arrested on a homicide charge Monday at the Rainbow Bridge as he was entering the United States on a commercial bus, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced.
CBP officers encountered Everton Thomas, 41, and found that he had an active arrest warrant out of Camden, N.J., for first-degree homicide with a gun.
Thomas was put in the custody of New York State Police as a fugitive from justice. He is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
