Man dead after being shot outside ONE Gentlemen's Club: Police

A man was fatally shot near a gentlemen’s club in Miami on Sunday morning, police said.

According to Miami Police, the investigation was focused outside the ONE Gentlemen’s Club near Northeast 79th Street.

Police said that when officers arrived at the club, they found a man in his 30s who had been shot.

Fire Rescue crews at the scene pronounced the man deceased.

His identity has not been confirmed.

NBC6 cameras captured multiple officers at the scene looking through the area as they collected evidence.

Neighbors in the area told NBC6 the fatal shooting was the type of violence that feels out of place.

“At our last trust meeting, we got word from the police that, like all crimes have been at a historic low in this community, so to hear that someone got shot last night is disheartening,” Ashley Toussiant said.

Toussiant is working to uplift the Little Haiti community.

He said this recent shooting is more than an isolated incident.

“I think it’s a bigger question like how people should act, but we also got to look at like how our gun policies might have to shift, so that gun violence doesn’t continue to happen,” he said.

No arrests have been made.
