Police are searching for those involved in the fatal shooting of a young man in North Hollywood on Saturday night.

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed that the shooting took place just after 9 p.m. near Vineland Avenue and Chandler Boulevard, not far from East Valley High School.

The spokesperson detailed that two suspects, described by LAPD as a Black man and a Hispanic man, approached the 20-year-old victim and one of them opened fire, striking the victim.

“Both suspects then fled the location,” the spokesperson said.

The unnamed victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
