This season, the Clippers will certainly look to get past the first round of the NBA playoffs — they were bounced by the Denver Nuggets 4-3 in a best-of-seven series.

Since that loss, LAC has done some roster shuffling; they signed Lopez and Beal as free agents from Milwaukee and Phoenix, respectively, not to mention that they signed 12-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul eight years after he was traded from the Clippers to the Houston Rockets.

Trade-wise, the Clippers acquired John Collins in a three-team trade with the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz on July 7. Norman Powell went to the Heat as a result of the transaction, and the Jazz got a 2027 second-round pick out of the deal.

Harden and Batum, meanwhile, had both re-signed with the Clippers two summers ago. Together, they have a combined 33 years of NBA experience.

Tyronn Lue will be the team’s head coach this year, his fifth season in the role. His team of assistants comprises of several former professional players and coaches, including Jeff Van Gundy, Dahntay Jones and Jay Larranaga.

The Clippers’ first preseason matchup is on Oct. 9 at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, where they will play the Guangzhou Loong-Lions. The regular season tips off for LAC on Oct. 22, when the Clips travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Jazz.

The 2025-2026 home opener is set for Oct. 24 against the Phoenix Suns.
