ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) — Upcoming construction work will close the bridge on Leonard Street in Adams for most of next week, Adams Police announced on Wednesday. The closure will be in place from September 22 through September 26.
The roadway will be completely blocked in both directions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during each day of the project, but will be open to traffic before and after construction hours. Drivers needing pass over the bridge are encouraged to instead take Bellevue Avenue.
Travelers can also reach Leonard Street via Orchard Street. Traffic below the Leonard Street bridge will remain open while work is underway.
