Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Recruitment Specialist is responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts of the communities by sourcing, screening and engaging qualified candidates for various positions within the communities. The role implements recruitment strategies to attract and assist our managers in hiring qualified employees across various departments within our communities. This role involves working closely with hiring managers and the HR team to fill vacancies efficiently while providing positive candidate experience. Will perform other duties as required.



Essential Duties and Functions


Sourcing and Candidate Outreach


  • Assist in the full-cycle recruiting, selection and placement process of the organization to employ, place and/or transfer internal and external healthcare professionals and community support staff for all Wesley Enhanced Living locations.
  • Source, screen, evaluate, and recommend high quality candidates who meet the skills, requirements and cultural fit for healthcare professionals and community support staff positions.

Screening and Evaluation


  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills and experience relative to job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates fit for specific roles and gather additional information.
  • As needed, coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers providing logistical support.

Collaboration and Relationship Building


  • Partner with the HR team and community supervisors to identify staffing requirements based on organizational and community goals and objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.
  • Establish strong relationships with referral sources including schools, colleges and trade associations.

Candidate Experience


  • Ensure a positive candidate experience during each stage in the recruitment process.
  • Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, etc.
  • Disposition candidates through our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout our hiring process.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2+ years, recruitment, talent acquisition or human resources experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS software and other recruitment tools

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or business preferred

Licensure/Certification: None

Language Skills: Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken word and sentences, and the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
