JOB TITLE: SOFTWARE ENGINEER LOCATION: AURORA, CO RATE RANGE: $75.00-80.00 PER HOUR JOB#: REQUIRED:Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of (4) years of prior engineering experience. Experience developing software using Java Experience configuring builds using Gradle/Maven Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines Experience using Artifactory Experience in the Command and Control Domain Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. What You Will Do:Develop and maintain Java based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux in the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Use up-to-date tools CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory. Gradle, Maven. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions. Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability. Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.
