The Role:
Minted is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SEO Manager to manage, execute and evolve its organic search strategy. This role will be critical in helping Minted adapt to the changing landscape of Google search, AI-powered platforms and the growing role of structured content in driving discoverability.
The SEO Manager will analyze, strategize, execute and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to execute best practices and new initiatives, and deliver new customer growth across the entire business. We are looking for someone who has the expertise and enthusiasm to take our SEO impact to the next level. 
This is both a strategic and hands-on role — ideal for someone who can see the big picture while diving into the details to execute. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a pioneering and innovative e-commerce brand.

You qill:

  • Establish Minted’s SEO strategies that are aligned with company goals.
  • Adapt SEO approaches as consumer behavior evolves to ensure Minted stays discoverable. Stay on top of algorithm and platform changes; proactively test and implement new best practices. This includes optimizing our brand visibility in AI-powered searches.
  • Execute strategies, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content production to drive traffic, revenue and new customer growth according to the company goals.
  • Conduct deep keyword research and search intent analysis, using tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console, to inform content and on-site decisions.
  • Stay ahead of LLM-powered search evolution and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) bringing insights to ensure site and content strategy adapt to emerging search landscapes
  • Manage SEO content strategy with a strong brand perspective — ensuring articles are engaging for users, optimized for search, and consistent with Minted’s brand values.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to integrate SEO into category growth plans and brand storytelling.
  • Provide regular reporting on SEO KPIs, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. Analyze SEO performance data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Propose and influence SEO priorities for the engineering and product roadmap. This includes both sizing the opportunity from various initiatives and partnering with engineering and PM to create product specifications.  
  • Serve as the company’s internal SEO expert, establishing and communicating SEO best practices, providing guidance and consulting on key changes.
  • Source, select, hire, and manage SEO team members and external agencies as needed. Engage and manage outsourced vendors and relationships.

You are:

  • Experienced in search engine optimization, with knowledge of SEO best practices, key performance drivers, and toolsets.

  • Deeply data-driven with a strong understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing metrics, using numbers as the foundation for problem-solving and strategy.

  • Insightful in analyzing the industry, competitive landscape, and consumer shopping behavior, with a clear grasp of why customers need certain products and what influences their decision to choose Minted.

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.

You have:

  • 4+ years of SEO experience in technical and content strategy, preferably in the e-commerce space.
  • Proven ability to drive organic traffic growth in e-commerce or large content-driven sites.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven search experiences and structured data optimization.
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.

Compensation: 
The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
Geo Base Full Salary Range 0 – Includes SF Bay Area $119,582- $156,951
Geo Base Full Salary Range 1 – All non-SF CA, DC, NY – $110,015- $144,395
Geo Base Full Salary Range 2 – Includes CO, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OR, RI, TX, VT, VA, WA – $101,644- $133,408
Geo Base Full Salary Range 3 – Includes AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI, WV, WY- $93,274 -$122,422
Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated job responsibilities, and/or other business or organizational needs.
This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus and stock options.
