What You’ll Do

  • Co-lead UX strategy and execution
  • Translate business goals and customer insights into seamless digital shopping experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and business performance
  • Design thoughtful experiences that reduce friction, increase conversions, and reflect the brand’s voice and values
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specs
  • Work with data analysts, researchers to validate ideas and refine designs based on user feedback and behaviors.
  • Contribute to and help evolve the product design system, ensuring consistency and quality across all user interfaces.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative, feedback-rich design culture.
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in UX, mobile commerce, and digital product design.

Who You Are

  • 5-7  years of professional design experience at a software company or a design agency, with an emphasis on user experience
  • Experience in utilizing design tools (e.g: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) in an iterative software development environment
  • Passion to drive design-centered changes and improvements to user experiences
  • Deep understanding of user behavior in online shopping, checkout flows, product discovery, and conversion optimization
  • Experienced in creating intuitive, scalable interfaces across web, mobile and app, with strong attention to hierarchy, usability, and accessibility
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX solutions for complex eCommerce problems—from discovery to launch
  • Proficient in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, with a solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
  • Confident communicator who can present design rationale clearly to stakeholders, from developers to executives
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and their impact on design
  • Prototyping skills leveraging latest technologies ( lovable, uizard etc )
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

That is why Flow is looking to add to our team of user-first, disruptive, detail-oriented designers who care deeply about reinventing how people live and ensuring that our residents cherish their homes.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with exceptional design skills, along with the ability to communicate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization. As a Sr. Designer, you will own product features from conception, user research, UI and visual design, engineering handoffs, QA, and testing. This is an individual contributor role where you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and get design work done to help us deliver high-quality products faster and faster. You’ll also be collaborating closely with the rest of the design team to set up processes, build and contribute to a new design system, and create a stellar design culture at Flow!
A portfolio is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive the user experience of our product from conception to launch in partnership with product management and engineering
  • Deeply understand our users (residents, onsite staff, et. al.), their pain points, and how they use the product
  • Conduct and evangelize user research to ensure a common and thorough understanding of our users
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of our brand, voice, and strategy as Flow evolves as a company and product
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams at Flow and help establish processes for these teams to engage and work with Design
  • Help us define Flow’s brand’s story and naturally evangelize our brand
  • Create, implement, and evolve design systems

Ideal Background

  • 8+ years of relevant work in a creative field, with a diverse portfolio of work that demonstrates experience across some combination of mobile apps, web, experiential marketing, advertising, social, and sales
  • Design related Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Strong communicator and collaborator; experience working with executives and leaders
  • Be willing to embrace the startup mentality and roll up your sleeves with a can-do attitude
  • A keen eye for detail and craftsmanship while also considerate of deadlines and constraints
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms and operations
  • Passion for reflecting and iteratively improving your process
  • Experience in creating features or entire products from 0-1
  • Experience in FinTech and/or PropTech a plus
