Overview: The recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates for a wide array of roles-from frontline behavioral health professionals and clinical support staff to administrative team members and leadership-level positions-covering both direct client services and essential operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs
- Identify candidates through internal data and outreach
- Screen applicants, check references, and verify credentials
- Guide candidates through the interview and hiring process
- Coordinate job fairs, open interviews, and networking events
- Schedule meetings and gather post-interview feedback
- Ensure compliance with EEO and employment laws
- Take on additional duties as needed
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and settings
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a related role
- SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred
- Valid NYS driver’s license required
