About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a trusted manufacturer in the Voorhees, NJ area to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join their finance team. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Payroll Manager will lead payroll operations for our multi-state workforce. This includes end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, reconciliations, audits, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all payroll operations including processing, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a payroll team of 2-3 employees.
- Manage payroll taxes, benefits deductions, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions.
- Oversee W-2 year-end reconciliations and annual bonus payouts.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on audits and internal reporting.
- Optimize systems and processes using ADP/UKG and other tools.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness.
- Stay informed of changes in tax and labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience; leadership experience required.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Proficiency in ADP and/or UKG systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and team leadership skills.
