Part-Time Afternoon Nanny Needed – 20 Hours/Week in Rye, NY

We’re looking for a dependable, kind, and upbeat nanny to join our family and help care for two school-aged children (3rd and 4th grade) during the school year. This is a great role for someone who enjoys kids, wants consistent afternoon hours, and is looking for a warm and respectful household to work in. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00-7:00 PM (20 hours/week) Location: Rye, NY Start Date: ASAP Pay: Competitive, based on experience – with room to grow over time Bonus: Option to stay later one evening per week (2-3 extra hours), with advance notice About the Role: Afternoon duties include walking to pick up the kids from school (just a few blocks away), helping with homework, preparing simple dinners or snacks, occasional driving to local sports or playdates, and light tidying around the kids’ areas. A valid driver’s license is required. You’ll need access to a car – or we can provide a family car if needed. About the Kids: Our children are independent, social, and easy to care for. They’re used to having a nanny, follow routines well, and enjoy playing, being active, and trying new things. It’s a relaxed and fun environment for the right person. We’re looking for someone who is calm, organized, and confident with school-aged children. Prior childcare experience is preferred. Strong communication and dependability are very important, as both parents work full-time in the city.
