SUMMARY OF JOB:
Demonstrates ability and knowledge to independently perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests, both automated and manual, within established time frame with accuracy and precision. – Is able to perform multiple tasks such as: Phlebotomy, Quality Performance activities, quality control procedures, ordering, computer functions, and other duties as assigned. – Strives to keep self technically competent and current. – Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both written and verbal with all levels of Holy Redeemer Health system Staff and clients. – Possesses strong customer service skills. -CONNECTING TO MISSION:All individuals, within the scope of their position are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s degree required, unless qualified to perform high-complexity testing under CLIA.Any one of the following certifications preferred: – MLT(ASCP), MLT(NCA), MLT(HEW), MT(HEW), MLT(AMT), CLA(HEW).
