About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst who is passionate about data, digital behavior, and performance storytelling. This role will sit at the intersection of editorial, commerce, and media—analyzing data across platforms like Google Analytics, Shopify, Social Ads (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), and Organic Social (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). You should have a solid understanding of SEO/GEO and knowledge of how AI platforms (Chat GPT/Gemini/Perplexity etc) crawl and rank content. You will create actionable dashboards and drive strategic recommendations to improve conversion rates, monitor contribution margin, and optimize marketing spend for maximum revenue impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Shopify, and ad platforms (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads etc) to monitor KPIs across traffic, engagement, and sales.
  • Build multi-source reporting models that track sales performance across organic and paid campaigns 
  • Analyze purchase funnels, landing page behavior, and paid/organic social performance to identify conversion opportunities.
  • Help set up contribution margin reporting monitoring across paid campaigns to help identify media or product combinations that maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media and Social teams to assess campaign performance and refine targeting, creative, or placement strategies.
  • Present insights and hypotheses regularly to cross-functional stakeholders (Commerce, Content, Growth) and participate in Weekly Business Reviews.
  • Partner with editors, merchandisers, and marketers to identify content-to-commerce pathways that drive higher AOV and lower CAC.
  • Provide forward-looking insights on trends in audience behavior, site merchandising performance, and attribution shifts.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in a digital media, publishing, or e-commerce setting with a focus on audience development or digital analytics
  • Fluency in Google Analytics (GA4), social analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Twitter Analytics), and video insights (e.g., YouTube Studio, JW Player)
  • Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience (particularly in Tableau); familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker Studio or similar.
  • Understanding of editorial content workflows, social content strategy, and commerce performance metrics (CTR, CVR, AOV, etc.)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative and technical teams; excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that influence creative decisions
  • Passion for youth culture, digital media trends, and the intersection of content and commerce

About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst who is passionate about data, digital behavior, and performance storytelling. This role will sit at the intersection of editorial, commerce, and media—analyzing data across platforms like Google Analytics, Shopify, Social Ads (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), and Organic Social (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok). You should have a solid understanding of SEO/GEO and knowledge of how AI platforms (Chat GPT/Gemini/Perplexity etc) crawl and rank content. You will create actionable dashboards and drive strategic recommendations to improve conversion rates, monitor contribution margin, and optimize marketing spend for maximum revenue impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Shopify, and ad platforms (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads etc) to monitor KPIs across traffic, engagement, and sales.
  • Build multi-source reporting models that track sales performance across organic and paid campaigns 
  • Analyze purchase funnels, landing page behavior, and paid/organic social performance to identify conversion opportunities.
  • Help set up contribution margin reporting monitoring across paid campaigns to help identify media or product combinations that maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media and Social teams to assess campaign performance and refine targeting, creative, or placement strategies.
  • Present insights and hypotheses regularly to cross-functional stakeholders (Commerce, Content, Growth) and participate in Weekly Business Reviews.
  • Partner with editors, merchandisers, and marketers to identify content-to-commerce pathways that drive higher AOV and lower CAC.
  • Provide forward-looking insights on trends in audience behavior, site merchandising performance, and attribution shifts.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in a digital media, publishing, or e-commerce setting with a focus on audience development or digital analytics
  • Fluency in Google Analytics (GA4), social analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Twitter Analytics), and video insights (e.g., YouTube Studio, JW Player)
  • Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience (particularly in Tableau); familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker Studio or similar.
  • Understanding of editorial content workflows, social content strategy, and commerce performance metrics (CTR, CVR, AOV, etc.)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative and technical teams; excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that influence creative decisions
  • Passion for youth culture, digital media trends, and the intersection of content and commerce
