What you will do
The Manufacturing Engineer III is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating both new and existing manufacturing systems within industrial production processes.
This role involves a comprehensive analysis of human work factors, material flow, cost analysis, and process optimization, with a focus on enhancing efficiency in both production and packaging operations.
Key Responsiblities
The Manufacturing Engineer III will:
- Manage and execute projects to evaluate and optimize manufacturing techniques and procedures, enhancing overall plant efficiency.
- Develop innovative manufacturing methods and labor standards to improve resource utilization.
- Analyze operational processes and workflows to define roles and responsibilities, ensuring effective material flow.
- Maintain labor and equipment capacity models to optimize resource allocation. Design specialized data collection and reporting tools for nonstandard manufacturing processes.
- Employ advanced statistical methods to assess manufacturing processes and determine staffing needs.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Utilize analytical problem-solving and structured decision-making skills to address operational challenges.
What are we looking for
Position Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or science related.
- At least 4-6 years of related experience
- A thorough understanding of line design flow principles and practices, lean manufacturing and the ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of project management principles are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience using Excel as an analytical tool is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or complex inquiries from groups of employees, managers and internal customers
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets to support decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to work at functional and strategic levels simultaneously
- Demonstrated planning and tracking skills and strong project management skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects
- Must have demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration and teaming.
- Proven influence, leadership and facilitation skills.
- Analytical problem solver
- Strong time management skills (schedules, timelines, and task prioritization)
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$86,700.00 – $122,400.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
