Are you a seasoned Maintenance Technician with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for machinery? We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Permanent Maintenance Technician. This position is a critical component of our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our production machinery and equipment. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your main duties will include:
1. Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity.
2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system malfunctions.
3. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and installations.
4. Operating PLC systems to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
5. Collaborating with the operations team to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
6. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and regulations during all tasks.
8. Training other team members on basic maintenance tasks and procedures.
9. Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position should possess the following qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role or a similar capacity.
2. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
3. Experience with PLC systems.
4. Demonstrated welding skills.
5. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
10. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
