Essential Functions


  • Develops / Maintains employee personnel files.
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
  • Monitors employee’s Credentials in the system and ensure valid credentials in both HR file and the system
  • Facilitates or provides training (including orientation / annual training) to the workforce.
  • Conducts new-hire orientation and onboarding process / Conduct bi-weekly onboarding of newly hired employees and enter new hire paperwork in HRIS.
  • Coordinates/ communicates benefits package during orientation – complete enrollment form or Wavier by first week of orientation
  • Complete Orientation checklist and new hire checklist – complete by first week of orientation
  • Monitors newly hired employees’ Initial Core Trainings – complete first week of orientation
  • Processes termination Letter to all W2 employees and 1099 contractors including deactivated access card and Relias account and ID badge.
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database – monthly
  • Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in the HRIS system in a timely fashion
  • Keep employee credentials up to date in both HR file and HRIS (system)
  • Ensure all employees contractors emergency contact information in both HR files and system.
  • Participates in supervision meetings and attends other meetings
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Completes other duties as assigned

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, consumers, vendors, and the public.
  • Ability to accurately calculate numbers; such as, addition, subtraction and percentages

  • Ability to operate under pressure.
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Two to four years of experience in human resource generalist role.
