We are exclusively supporting a leading enterprise in their search for a senior IT procurement leader to join their high-performing global team. This is a pivotal opportunity for an accomplished procurement professional to take ownership of IT spend categories, lead large-scale vendor negotiations, and deliver enterprise-wide sourcing strategies.

The Role

As Director of Procurement – IT Category Lead, you will:

• Lead negotiations on high-value IT contracts with major global vendors (e.g., Oracle and other leading technology partners).
• Manage both new and existing RFPs across hardware, software, services, professional services, and staff augmentation.
• Develop and implement category strategies covering over $250M+ in spend, ensuring measurable savings and value creation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders (VPs, SVPs, and business leaders) to align procurement strategies with business imperatives.
• Oversee vendor governance, driving performance, innovation, and long-term supply resilience.
• Build and lead a team including direct recruitment of a Manager-level hire under this role.

We’re looking for a senior procurement leader with:

• 10+ years’ IT procurement experience with strong strategic sourcing expertise.
• Proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-level vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to operate credibly with senior executives.
• A track record of driving both savings and innovation in large-scale procurement organizations.
• Relevant certifications (CPSM, CPM) or MBA preferred.
• Based within commutable distance of New Jersey (approx. 1.5 hours from Philadelphia).

The Package

• Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 USD + Strong Bonus Potential
• Hybrid working: Approx. 4 days per month in office (2 days every other week).
