Franchise Development Manager

Hand & Stone Franchise Corporation, a 600+ store spa franchise in the U.S. & Canada, is currently seeking a strongly motivated, energetic, and exceptionally organized professional to join the corporate team as a full-time Franchise Development Manager.
Position Summary:
The Franchise Development Manager will be responsible to recruit, execute and deliver the highest qualified franchise candidates that align with Hand & Stone’s growth and goals objectives. The Franchise Development Manager will build rapport with these identified candidates, lead them through the mutual evaluation process and eventually help the right candidates sign a Franchise Agreement with Hand & Stone. This role will work in conjunction with the other Hand & Stone team members, including franchise sales, franchise administration, real estate, construction, and franchise operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing the franchise mutual evaluation selection process and delivering new franchise agreements.
- Partners with franchise candidates as they progress through the qualification process and approval process, assuring all requirements are met and documentation is received.
- Collaborate with existing Hand & Stone franchise owners to assist in the development of additional spas/territories.
- Work with franchise owners that are looking for an exit strategy, pairing internal and external candidates with those franchise owners to complete a resale of the franchise.
- Responsible for records management for each franchise candidate as well as completing required activity reports to accurately maintain projections for the team.
- Responsible for coordinating and preparing the inter-office communication.
- Help advance the development, growth, and implementation of new sales strategies.
- Drive a detailed franchise license award process that balances high quality with high volume, targeting 20-30 license awards annually.
- Qualify and engage new franchise prospects, including those exploring resale opportunities.
- Work directly with the Franchise Partners and staff on company initiatives.
- Travel as required to assigned trade shows, Meet the Team days, and as needed for future franchise owners.
- Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 5-10 years’ of franchise development experience, preferably in the service vertical in the franchise industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, with a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Must have experience in a high volume environment, championing a detailed franchise license awards process focused on quality while maintaining quantity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing a CRM, preferably FranConnect.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
