Forklift Operator
What are we looking for? A candidate must have previous experience operating a sit down forklift in a warehouse environment to be considered. AM or PM shifts available on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, which means having off for a 3 day weekend every other week!
Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Pennsauken, NJ 08110
Pay Rate: $19.67/hr (additional $1.50/hr shift differential on PM shift)
Schedule/Hours:
AM Shift: 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM OR PM Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
2-2-3 rotating shift:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 shifts, 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM OR 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM (3-day weekend every other week!)
Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the proper receipt, shipment, storage, and delivery of finished or raw products. You will utilize your skills to ensure seamless operations within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize RF scanner guns for inventory management
- Move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols
- Perform palletizing duties, including removing wrapped pallets and relocating pallets throughout the facility
- Assist in receiving raw materials, unloading delivery trucks, and delivering materials to designated areas
- Operate depalletizer to unload materials safely
- Deliver raw materials to appropriate production areas
- Stage outgoing orders and load trucks while ensuring product integrity
- Report any food safety and quality issues promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a sit down forklift in a warehouse environment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, and skid-resistant work shoes/boots
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and math functions
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
