The Food & Beverage Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all daily food and beverage operations across multiple dining venues. This hands-on role requires a dynamic hospitality professional who will lead by example, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
The Food & Beverage Manager will motivate, supervise, and develop a team of front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with a passion for service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple outlets. This is a highly visible role that demands both strategic oversight and day-to-day operational involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all dining outlets, ensuring smooth, consistent, and high-quality service across the club.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to engage with members and guests, ensuring a warm, personalized, and exceptional dining experience.
- Lead, train, mentor, and motivate F&B staff to uphold service standards and club values.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all front- and back-of-house F&B areas in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to stay informed on menu offerings, specials, and dietary accommodations.
- Maintain deep knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine and spirits, to support staff training and enhance member engagement.
- Execute service training programs to enhance staff knowledge, performance, and hospitality skills.
- Manage schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels based on business volume, events, and member needs.
- Monitor labor costs, payroll, and overtime to remain within budget guidelines while maintaining service quality.
- Support and contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and cost control for all F&B operations.
- Work closely with other department heads to coordinate club activities, private functions, and member events.
- Maintain constant awareness of all club events, functions, and service areas to ensure readiness and alignment across teams.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member feedback and concerns, ensuring swift resolution and high satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the F&B department.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including food handling, alcohol service, and workplace safety protocols.
- Support the development and implementation of club policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and excellence in operations.
- Ensure all staff and members adhere to established club policies and procedures, promoting a respectful and well-managed club environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of food & beverage management experience, preferably in a private club, hotel, or upscale dining environment
- Experience managing multiple dining outlets and service styles (casual, formal, events)
- ServSafe or other food safety certification (required or willing to obtain)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time. Capability to walk, reach, bend and lift 25 lbs. during each shift.
- Adherence to uniform policy, including maintaining a neat and polished appearance.
- Adherence to club policies and respect for club resources.
