Burnett Medical Center is looking for a Financial Counselor.

SHIFT/HOURS: Full-time, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all private pay accounts, sending out patient statements, notices; setting up payment plans with patients, creating reports. Prepares accounts ready to send to collections and meets with patients about Community Care and other assistance options.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma required.
• Financial Counseling experience in the healthcare field preferred.
• Computer skills, professional and assertive demeanor on phone and in person; self-motivated; analytical.
• Previous collections, outbound sales, negotiation experience preferred.
