English -Singapore – Data Collection

We’re looking for enthusiastic participants to join our short-term audio recording project!.

If you enjoy conversations and want to be part of a meaningful data collection initiative, this is a great opportunity for you.

Project Overview:

Work in pairs (groups of two).

Record natural dialogues based on given topics and keywords (bank-related themes).

Each dialogue must include both speakers’ voices and follow specific speaking duration limits.

Audio quality: Recorded with your mobile phone in a normal home environment (background noise is acceptable).

Responsibilities:

Recording device: Mobile phone only.

Recording environment: At home; natural setting is fine.

Content: Topics and keywords provided by the client – you’ll create spontaneous conversations around them.

Audio format: 16kHz, 16bit, WAV.

Submission: Deliver WAV files plus a summary file (including audio name, speaker info, duration, and topic).

Schedule: 2-week project (Sept 1 – Sept 23, 2025).

Daily data submissions are required.:

Workload: Approx. 4–5 hours per day.

Output volume: Each participant can record up to 30 minutes of usable dialogue.

Qualifications:

Nationality: Thai, Malay, Hindi, or Singaporean.

Must have lived in Thailand, Malaysia, India, or Singapore for at least 15 years.

Currently living abroad is acceptable, as long as your time zone aligns with Beijing time or Southeast Asia.

Must be able to speak and understand English fluently.

September 1, 2025 – September 23, 2025
