CGRC’s Director of Education & School Based Mental Health Services provides administrative and clinical leadership to the Elementary Education, CREATE, and School Contract Services Programs.The Director provides supervision and instruction relative to the programmatic and treatment services delivered by the program teams.The Director ensures integration, coordination, and collaboration of program services into the overall functioning of the organization.The programs work with children/adolescents diagnosed on the autism spectrum and group therapy as well as emotional support needs.

Some responsibilities include: Design, direct, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of education program services to children, adolescents, and their families.
Provide leadership in developing and maintaining innovative and effective delivery of education services.
Communicate with Special Education, School District, and School Administration to ensure that program is providing services consistent with contract.
Verify current and ongoing clinical competence of all program personnel by ensuring the implementation of team member orientation, training, and effective performance management including group and individual supervision.
Intervene to provide immediate assistance in crisis situations.
Develop and facilitate various trainings to CGRC and school district staff and administration based on request and contract needs.
Develop and maintain the referral and intake process for the program’s services.
Maintain collaborative relationships with County offices of MH/ID; Intermediate Units; MCO; mental health providers; School Districts; and parent advocacy groups, including troubleshooting programmatic and clinical issues as necessary.
Utilize the electronic health record to review and monitor clinical service delivery for the division.
Develop program budgets for all assigned services, ensuring that the program budgets are cost effective and accurate.
Maintain spending for program services in alignment with budget for current fiscal year.
Utilize the electronic health record to run reports and analyze data that impacts the financial integrity of the programs.
Represent and promote the organization with funding sources professional membership groups, regulatory/accreditation organizations, referral sources, and consumers.
Work closely with the marketing and development department to assess priorities for the division in these areas and provides any needed information so that funding for division services can be obtained.
Develop new business opportunities through the development and maintenance of relationships with a variety of community organizations (provider, school district, social service, etc.).
Ensure appropriate staffing for assigned services consistent with client need and in compliance with licensure/ accreditation standards and contractual expectations.
