As the PPG CMS Site Supervisor, you will oversee PPG’s vendor-managed inventory (VMI) program, supporting the supply of chemicals to aerospace manufacturing operations. You will serve as the primary liaison between Customers and PPG’s warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and high service levels. Reporting directly to the Chemical Management Services Leader you will lead operations for three customer sites located in Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut, with one PPG employee reporting onsite at each location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the onsite VMI program, ensuring accurate chemical supply to manufacturing operations.
- Be the main contact between the customer and PPG’s warehouse and supply chain teams.
- Monitor and report on measurements, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Prioritize customer requirements and organize daily responsibilities for the onsite team.
- Collaborate with internal departments including supply chain, procurement, warehousing, quality, and EHS to fulfill customer needs.
- Make strategic decisions to optimize inventory levels, reduce working capital, and ensure deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations leadership.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams in a customer-facing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and measurement tracking; experience with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols.

A base salary for this position would range from $66,000 – $75,000 annually.
