Associate Accountant – Sumukh Financials, LLC (Aransas Pass, TX) Job Duties: Prepare, Examine, and Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards of GAAP. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice using MS Excel and QuickBooks. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel using QuickBooks. Represent clients before taxing authorities and provide support during litigation involving financial issues. Appraise and evaluate inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the property’s description, value, and location. Calculate net wages after taking into consideration deductions and exemptions and issue salary checks or transfer the net wages payable in the bank. Save data regarding monthly wise payroll details. Prepare tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedule and recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration in Accounting/Finance and 2 years in the job offered or as an Accountant/ Associate Accountant working for a for-profit organization in compiling/analyzing financial records, finalizing accounts and preparing financial statements and reports. Must have 2 year’s of experience using QuickBooks and MS Excel. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. OR an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration in Accounting/Finance and 2 years in the job offered or as an Accountant/ Associate Accountant working for a for-profit organization in compiling/analyzing financial records, finalizing accounts and preparing financial statements and reports.
