The Role:
Minted is excited to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Finance Team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting the company’s day-to-day accounts payable function. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Accountant, this role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, vendor relationship management, maintaining and updating invoice coding instructions, and other tasks as assigned.

You will:
- Work with offshore resources to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, communicating any corrective action or changes, as necessary
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure invoice approvals are processed timely
- Ensure all invoices are supported with proper documentation, according to company policies
- Manage and update vendor coding instructions for the AP team
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 requirements
- Review, reconcile, and respond to vendor inquiries, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare vendor accrual reports for month end and year end close
- Prepare other month end and year end reconciliations as it relates to AP and related activity
- Address urgent requests from both internal and external stakeholders in a complete and timely manner

You have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and accounting systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and AP best practices
Bonus Points:
- NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify Experience (or similar systems)
- Performing 3-way match for processing invoices
Compensation:
The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
Geo Base Full Salary Range 2 – Includes CO, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OR, RI, TX, VT, VA, WA – $57,589 – $75,585
Geo Base Full Salary Range 3 – Includes AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, WI – $52,846 – $69,360
Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated job responsibilities, and/or other business or organizational needs.
