How to register for pre-sale tickets to John Mulaney's Wrigley Field comedy show

Wrigley Field history will be made next summer when Chicago native John Mulaney headlines the venue’s first-ever comedy show, he announced during the Cubs game Tuesday.

Mulaney’s Wrigley Field show is set for July 11, 2026. The show’s start time has not yet been released.

“I’ll be the first comedian to ever play Wrigley Field,” Mulaney said during the Cubs game against the New York Mets Tuesday.

Wrigley Field has a capacity of 41,000 — much larger than many other venues his tour is stopping at, that range from a few hundred at spots like the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Co., to a 19,000-person capacity at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York.

“Look, if Mark Grace could come out there every day and just deliver — ripping cigarettes — I can face down this crowd too,” Mulaney said. “I’m so excited for it.”

Pre-sale ticket registration for the “Mister Whatever” tour stop at Wrigley Field is available on the Major League Baseball website.

There is a seven-month gap on Mulaney’s tour schedule before the Wrigley Field show. Unless Mulaney adds additional shows to the tour, his final performance ahead of coming to the Windy City will be in Aspen, Co. on Jan. 3.
