ST. LOUIS – Temperatures will reach the mid 90s both days this weekend and dewpoints come up a few degrees as well. This will lead to heat indices approaching 100 degrees both days.
The weekend will be mostly dry, but a stray shower can’t be ruled out across our southern counties Saturday afternoon and a few spot showers may develop anywhere in our region on Sunday afternoon.
Hot temperatures continue into the work week with a few afternoon storms.
The upper-level dome of heat shows signs of breaking down mid to late week and a cold front approaches the region which will bring a slight increase in spotty light rain chances come Thursday. Relief from the heat could arrive by Friday with temperatures back down into the 80s.
