GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A cafe founded in Manchester, Vermont, will open a new storefront on Western Avenue in Guilderland on November 13. The Works Cafe’s new Guilderland location is offering the first 100 customers 100 days of free bagels and coffee during the grand opening celebration on Friday, November 14.
The Works Cafe menu features boiled and baked bagels, artisan sandwiches, smoothies, chef-inspired bowls, and Vermont handmade cream cheeses. Cafe officials said the shop is designed to be a modern community gathering place for friends, a place to get some work done, or a place to take a break.
“The Works Café is built on real food made from scratch, served fast, and sourced from our neighbors,” Founder and CEO Richard French said. “Our promise is simple: make it easy to eat well. Albany has the energy, the people, and the appetite for a cafe that combines quality with heart.”
The cafe has another location in Latham, as well as several others across New England. The Works Cafe is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
