Flames could be seen lapping what remained of the four walls that made up a Chester County barn as fire crews worked to extinguish a fire there on Monday morning.
According to fire officials, crews responded to a fire at a barn located along the 5100 block of Forge Road in Oxford, Chester County, just after 6 a.m. on Monday for find the building in flames.
Footage from NBC10’s Sky Force 10 showed little remaining of the structure as crews poured water onto a roof-less barn as flames charred the remaining walls.
Officials said there were no injuries were reported in this incident.
In a morning update, fire officials said two horses escaped the burning building unharmed and the flames were extinguished in about 45 minutes after fire crews arrived.
Officials have not determined a cause of the fire, but said they have no reason to believe it is suspicious.
An investigation, officials said, is ongoing.
