Despite improvement, 'C' grade unlikely for 3 Austin schools under state-approved turnaround plan

Austin Independent School District Superintendent Matias Segura said on Thursday it is unlikely three of the district’s lowest performing schools will be able to improve two letter grades this school year – despite two of the campuses showing double digit growth in reading and writing scores.
