DENVER (KDVR) — A warming trend continues in Denver’s weather forecast Friday ahead of a weekend cooldown and the next chance for showers.
Weather tonight: Mainly clear
Thursday night will stay mainly clear and dry. Low temperatures will fall to the 50s, which is 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunshine, warmer
Sunshine continues Friday and will keep the warming trend going. High temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is nearly 15 degrees above normal for this time of year, but just shy of the daily record of 88 degrees set in 2005.

Looking ahead: Weekend showers, much cooler
Saturday will start off sunny and mild. Then, clouds will increase as high temperatures climb to the 70s ahead of a few spotty showers and thunderstorms, mostly in the high country.

Sunday will look similar with morning sunshine and a spotty chance for an afternoon shower. It will be a breezy day with wind gusts up to around 30 mph.
Temperatures will be cooler, only reaching the mid- to upper-60s. The cooling trend will continue into the start of the workweek with a morning low in the 40s and high temperatures only reaching the low to mid 60s on Monday and Tuesday. Then, sunshine and more seasonal temperatures around 70 degrees return on Wednesday.
