DENVER (KDVR) — Showers will clear Tuesday evening, followed by sunshine and a warming trend moving into Denver’s weather forecast for the rest of the workweek.
Weather tonight: Clearing, mild
A few showers will continue Tuesday evening, mostly in the mountains, followed by clearing at night.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer
A mainly sunny sky will dominate the forecast on Wednesday. This, plus a light southwesterly breeze, will keep high temperatures climbing up toward 80 degrees, which is nearly 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Looking ahead:
The warming trend will continue Thursday and Friday with high temperatures climbing to the mid-80s. These are temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above the lower 70s that are typical for this time of year, but still shy of the upper 80s needed to set or tie records.

Friday, a breeze will pick up as a cold front moves toward the area. This front will aid in bringing back showers by the weekend and a drastic drop in temperature. Temperatures will fall to more seasonal levels in the 70s on Saturday, but will only reach the 60s on Sunday.

High temperatures will stay about 5 degrees below normal for the start of the workweek, only reaching the mid-60s on Monday and Tuesday, alongside a stray chance for an afternoon shower.
